Wedding Style - Yellow Rose

Julia and Jason chose our Rose Bouquet Wedding Stationery, printed on White Shimmer Card with a custom colour change to yellow to match their Yellow Rose theme of the day. Being Julia`s favourite flower, the yellow rose lead the theme from bridesmaids dresses through to reception decor.

On a lovely afternoon, at The Mermaid Waters Hotel in Queensland, Julia Condon married Jason Carter in a poolside ceremony. Julia looked stunning in a Peter Trends designed dress with hand beaded lace motifs, A-line skirt and chapel train. The flowing Grecian like yellow Chiffon bridesmaids dresses from Mr K were a beautiful addition of colour to the ceremony. Not to be left out, Jason and his groomsmen were dashing in Myer suits with yellow rose button holes.

Cocktail dress was the order du jour for guests who mingled around the pool with their pre dinner drinks, followed by a reception dinner in the hotel. 

A swathe of yellow satin greeted guests at the elegant reception. The guests were guided to their tables with custom coloured place cards, repeating the yellow roses from the invitation. These sat along side the bonbonniere of yellow jelly beans in clear boxes tied with white ribbon.

The cake was a 3-tiered chocolate, caramel and white mud cake.Yellow satin ribbon sat on each tier with gorgeous cream roses atop.
